We are a Northern Illinois family run farm that raises free-range organic chickens. We hand raise our chickens in small batches which allows for better monitoring of their health. Our chickens are free to roam outside over 12 hours a day, where they run and catch bugs and dig up worms, all things God intended chickens to do. This special attention makes for high quality, tender, juicer, more flavorful chicken meat.Our team consists of myself, Christopher, my wife, Angela and our two sons, Landon and Grayden. We work together to perform the chores around the farm including weekly cleaning of coops, ensuring the chickens have fresh water, and of course feeding them. Welcome to our page! We are the Northern Illinois chapter of USA Dance (chapter #2039). Our Northern Illinois chapter is a friendly mix of couples and singles of all levels, from beginner to competitor. The general public is warmly invited to attend all of our events. 4th Saturday Ballroom Dance in Belvidere – every fourth Saturday of the month we hold a dance at the beautiful Community Building Complex of Boone County (Belvidere Community Center), 111 W. 1st St, Belvidere, IL. We start with a one hour lesson at 7:00, general dancing begins at 8:00. Mixers and exhibitions take place throughout the evening. (Note - the date will be moved if the 4th Saturday falls on Christmas Eve/Day. Also - the 4th Saturday of the month is not always the last Saturday of the month!) 2nd Saturday Ballroom Dance in Rockford – on the second Saturday of the month, September through November, and January through May in Rockford. 2nd Saturday dances are held at the Arthur Murray Studio, 7326 N. Cherry Vale Mall Dr., Rockford, IL. General dancing begins at 7:30. Admission to our dances is $6.00 for USA Dance members, $8.00 for non-members, and $2.00 for students.

YouthBuild Rockford provides low-income young people who have not completed high school in the Rockford area with vital opportunities to become productive, self-supporting adults. YouthBuild serves out of school youth with academic education, vocational skills training, personal counseling, positive peer support, leadership development, job placement and follow-up support. In addition, participants build or rehabilitate housing for low-income families, and have produced 41 units of affordable housing in Rockford since the program began.

Stronghold Center is a four-season retreat and camping center, operated by the Presbytery of Blackhawk, Presbyterian Church (USA). Our facilities include wilderness cabins, a camping area, dining and meeting rooms, and seven retreat houses able to accommodate 6-56 guests. Located in Oregon, IL, the beauty of nature exists in a variety of environments, all along bluffs overlooking the Rock River. Founded in 1963, Stronghold Center proudly continues to provide a variety of Christian and secular programming and events. Our unique programming includes summer camps for ages 6-18, challenge courses, and a Confirmation Retreat. In October, Stronghold hosts the annual Olde English Faire. The RPL Nordlof Center provides a multi-use performance and classroom venue for the region’s performing arts and technology training needs. The Severson Dells Nature Center is housed in a converted Deer Lodge situated on a 369-acre county forest preserve. Forest Preserve of Winnebago County Working closely with the Nature Center, the Forest Preserve District maintains the physical property and facilities, including the Nature Center. Our programs are funded primarily by memberships, donations, and proceeds from special events.

Known today as The Ethnic Heritage Museum it is here that you will find six fascinating galleries devoted to the primary immigrant groups that settled in southwest Rockford, IL. African-American, Hispanic, Irish, Italian, Lithuanian and Polish. Through displays of early Rockford area maps, everyday artifacts, vintage clothing and more, visitors of all ages can learn about Old World customs and traditions. Historical photographs tell the stories of the earliest settlers who established factories near the old "waterpower district" and built their homes nearby. Honoring the Veterans of Winnebago County Since 1903. Veterans Memorial Hall and Museum is a living memorial to Veterans from all wars. It will serve as a constant reminder to the sacrifices given by brave men and women from Winnebago County and a way for generations to remember and learn about their lives. This Memorial Hall, one of the first of it's kind in the state of Illinois to be dedicated to our veterans of all wars, was completed in the year 1903. From this meeting, the concept of the Rockford Network of Professional Women (RNPW) evolved. Those four women were Mildred Berry, Barbara Chapman, Marcella Harris, and Jeanine Wortmann.
