Welcome to our page! We are the Northern Illinois chapter of USA Dance (chapter #2039). Our Northern Illinois chapter is a friendly mix of couples and singles of all levels, from beginner to competitor. The general public is warmly invited to attend all of our events. 4th Saturday Ballroom Dance in Belvidere – every fourth Saturday of the month we hold a dance at the beautiful Community Building Complex of Boone County (Belvidere Community Center), 111 W. 1st St, Belvidere, IL. We start with a one hour lesson at 7:00, general dancing begins at 8:00. Mixers and exhibitions take place throughout the evening. (Note - the date will be moved if the 4th Saturday falls on Christmas Eve/Day. Also - the 4th Saturday of the month is not always the last Saturday of the month!) 2nd Saturday Ballroom Dance in Rockford – on the second Saturday of the month, September through November, and January through May in Rockford. 2nd Saturday dances are held at the Arthur Murray Studio, 7326 N. Cherry Vale Mall Dr., Rockford, IL. General dancing begins at 7:30. Admission to our dances is $6.00 for USA Dance members, $8.00 for non-members, and $2.00 for students.

We are a Northern Illinois family run farm that raises free-range organic chickens. We hand raise our chickens in small batches which allows for better monitoring of their health. Our chickens are free to roam outside over 12 hours a day, where they run and catch bugs and dig up worms, all things God intended chickens to do. This special attention makes for high quality, tender, juicer, more flavorful chicken meat.Our team consists of myself, Christopher, my wife, Angela and our two sons, Landon and Grayden. We work together to perform the chores around the farm including weekly cleaning of coops, ensuring the chickens have fresh water, and of course feeding them. We pay close attention to the welfare of our chickens by doing things like cleaning their feet off. We get great satisfaction knowing others are able to enjoy our hard work.

Clinical experiences are arranged and supervised by faculty at a variety of sites in and around the Rockford area. College of Pharmacy In a direct response to the continuing shortage of pharmacists in Illinois, the College of Pharmacy created its Rockford regional program. The first class of students was admitted in 2010 and will complete all four years of pharmacy education on the Rockford campus and at clerkship sites throughout the state. Students in the Rockford program will complete all of the same coursework as students on the Chicago campus. Select students from rural backgrounds will be admitted to the rural pharmacy (RPharm) program, training with medical students from the College of Medicine at Rockford Rural Medical Education (RMED) program.

Auburn Creative And Performing Arts (CAPA) Program is an intensive arts program hosted at Auburn High School by the Rockford Public School District 205 in Rockford, IL. CAPA Theatre Arts is a strong portion of this program with productions directed by Eddie Urish and Joselyn Ludtke. For the musicals vocal direction is headed by Beth Heuer. They also compete at a State level in IHSA Group Interpretation and Drama. Auburn CAPA Theatre prides itself on producing quality theatre while developing young performers to not only be on stage, but to discover their characters, movements, sons, personalities, and even themselves through a higher level of theatre education.

We started with 15-20 people while we were at Cherry Valley and now our average attendance is 80-90 people during the school year and 90-200+ in the summer. In 2002 we finalized our group and made it official. We named ourselves “Forest City Swing”. We host our dances every Thursday night with exception of Thanksgiving. Forest City Swing’s goal was to provide a fun place for people of all ages to go and dance, however FCS became more than that. In 2003 we started our Annual Swing Out Rockford Event. This was a great opportunity to bring in a live swing band and have a big swing party. More importantly, we decided that since we are a nonprofit group, we would donate the net proceeds of the Swing-Out Rockford Event and the Net proceeds of the money collected at our Thursday night swing dancing to local charities around the Rockford Area. To date we have donated over $30,000 to charity since 2003.

The founding members of EAA Chapter 22 were: Frank Murray, Joe Kirk, Lynn Stevenson, Ken Long, Hendley Hall, Mel Jacobeson, Bud Harwood, Ken Casson, Bob Richardson, Ed Livingston and Roy Malm. EAA Chapter 22 was started with a meeting in Cottonwood FBO owner Frank Murray's office sometime in 1956. Frank Murray was elected the first president and ran the organization until he resigned due to ill health.The first issue of "TOUCH & GO" (EAA Chapter 22's monthly newsletter) was published in 1964 with Peter MacKay as the editor. Dog Paddle Beach is a canine swimming facility. It is a 21' round swimming pool which is inside so we swim all year round. The heated pool is 54" deep and the 90 degree water provides a relaxing comfortable environment. There is a self serve wash and dry station to use after swimming. Swimming is an excellent non-weight bearing, cardio exercise. Swimming is good for any dog who has just had ACL surgery, chronic arthritis, degenerative myelopathy, needs to loose weight, has too much energy, or just wants to have fun.
