Since opening, Evolve continues to provide quality instruction to dancers in Rockford and the surrounding areas. Rockford Rage is a roller derby league based in Rockford, Illinois. Founded in 2006, the league consisted of two teams which competed against teams from other leagues. The league was founded in mid-2006, and played its first bout in December: an interleague contest between the Demolition Dolls and the Screw City Slammers, teams which have since been disbanded. The bout attracted 650 fans. In 2009, the league attracted attention for its abandonment of smoking breaks. Rockford was accepted into the Women's Flat Track Derby Association Apprentice Program in September 2009, and became a full member of the WFTDA in June 2010.The Rockford Rage will be hosting home bouts for the 2018 season at the UW Sports Factory located in downtown Rockford.

Goodwill Industries of Northern Illinois is a community-based not-for-profit organization whose mission is to create opportunities for individuals with barriers to enhance their lives. Honoring the Veterans of Winnebago County Since 1903. Veterans Memorial Hall and Museum is a living memorial to Veterans from all wars. It will serve as a constant reminder to the sacrifices given by brave men and women from Winnebago County and a way for generations to remember and learn about their lives. This Memorial Hall, one of the first of it's kind in the state of Illinois to be dedicated to our veterans of all wars, was completed in the year 1903. The doors opened with the dedication ceremonies on June third of that year by our twenty - sixth president Theodore Roosevelt with these words: "No more fitting memorial could be erected to the men who fought, than a hall such as this..... a hall beautiful because of the uses to which it is consecrated" - Teddy Roosevelt 1903.
