The 10th annual Tour de Frost 2019 is coming up this weekend! Tour de Frost is a roughly 20 mile bike ride around Rockford! Not only is it a fun event, it's also a fundraiser for the Fish-Abled Foundation. This year, they are aiming to get 100 participants out riding with furry bikes or wearing (faux) fur. 100% of registration fees go towards Fish-Abled. There's a super cool event coming up this weekend that you need to know about. Trace Foster, a musician that grew up right here in Rockford and has ties to so many Rock legends, is coming back on Saturday, Dec. 7! His band, Letters From Jett, will be performing an acoustic show at CD Source at noon followed by a full show at Oscar's Pub & Grill at 9pm. I'm going to let you in on a little secret (hi, this is Courtney!) I LOVE puzzles. There's just something so satisfying about getting to that final piece and pressing it into place.Do you also love puzzles and have a bunch sitting around your house that you've completed and just don't know what to do with? Well, December 7th from 12-2pm at Katie's Cup, you can participate in a PUZZLE SWAP! Minimum 500 pieces, max 2,000 pieces! For each 500 pieces you bring in, you get a ticket for 500 pieces (there's a tiny bit of math involved, but if you can do puzzles you can do some math).This is an awesome event put on by some cool people. So be sure to check it out! :D

Electronic Union Records is a local record label working with electronic music such as Hip-Hop, House, Techno, Drum Bass. They enjoy dance music and want to support artists and work with them to produce high-quality records! Their studio is availble for booking time to record and they have DJ lessons coming soon. Wired Cafe' is where you can go to get an awesome cup of coffee and a comforting atmosphere. They've been a home away from home for Rockford residents for nearly 10 years now! If you've never been - you need to change that immediately! The Wright Way Youth Group was started as a way to keep kids off the streets and them them some fun and educational opportunities after school and throughout the summer. This is a family that wants to give back to their home community, and they're doing an amazing job! TEACHING THE YOUTH THE WRIGHT WAY

Mama Sue's Deli & Slots is a new spot that opened up recently in the Roscoe area! It was opened in memory of an awesome woman who liked to bring family together - one of those ways being with food!
