Prairie Street Brewing Company came back to life when three Rockford natives decided to share their passion for fine beer and food with others. The Prairie Street Brewhouse, one of Rockford’s premier historic buildings, currently making a comeback as a mixed-use development will be home to the brewpub. The original Rockford Brewing Company developed the building to establish one of the first breweries in the nation, brewing over 75,000 barrels a year at its peak production. Our shiny, new 15-barrel brewery will be the backdrop to Rockford’s latest destination for handcrafted beer and food.
