Winter Solstice Fun

December 21st is the Winter Solstice – the shortest day of the year! Come to Rockford Public Library on the afternoon of the 21st to learn about the science of the winter solstice and what we can do help the animals and birds survive the long winter. We will read The Shortest Day by Wendy Pfeffer and make bird and squirrel feeders out of sunflower butter, seeds, and cereal. For children ages 5-8.
