Travel Through Time: Summer Reading Challenge Kick-off Party

Join RPL as we Kick-off our Summer Reading Challenge!

The Rockford Public Library is celebrating its 150th anniversary this summer with a special Summer Reading Challenge. We will "Travel Through Time" with special events and programs all summer long. RPL is starting off this special summer with our Summer Reading Challenge Kick-off Party! The whole family can join in the fun activities.

There will be crafts, games, and a chance to visit the Mobile Library to sign up for a library card and to pick your books to start your reading challenge. The first 800 children will receive a free t-shirt with this year's special anniversary logo!

Can't make the party? Visit the website and sign up from home or visit any RPL location, including the Mobile Library to get started. The Summer Reading Challenge will run from June 4th to August 20 and is open to readers of all ages.
