Come join us for a Rock River Trail Paddle with some paddling adventure and exercise as we paddle the Fur Trader’s Run on the Rock River. This seven mile guided paddle, which traces the route fur traders used back in the day when the Rock River acted like a Commercial Highway, will launch in downtown Beloit via the Water St. access point. Enjoy the wooded scenery and wildlife on a leisurely paddle as you follow the Fur Traders route. There is one portage required on this trip at the Rockton Dam. This is NOT a first time paddling experience.

Details: 7 mile paddle on the Rock River. We will meet at the takeout, which is the Rockton boat ramp behind Hononegah High School. We will then shuttle to the launch in Beloit.

What to bring/wear: Bring water, sunscreen, and a light snack. Please wear shoes that can get wet.

Price: $50 and includes kayak, paddle, PFD, shuttle, and guide service. $20 if you have your own equipment. We have a max of 10 participants and a minimum of 4 for the trip to go. We will run multiple shuttles due to COVID.
