Sponsored by Keep Northern Illinois Beautiful (KNIB), Our Savior's Great American Cleanup is on Sunday, May 19 (yes, the same day as Outdoor Worship at 10:00 AM with a potluck lunch following). There are two shifts available—choose to sign up from 12:00–1:30 PM or 1:30–3:00 PM. Cub Scouts Pack 43 and Scouts BSA Troop 14 will also be helping with the cleanup.

Since children are involved and invited to sign up as well, we've chosen two adjacent sites behind Beef-A-Roo and Office Max for safety, away from heavy traffic. Parking is available behind Beef-A-Roo. KNIB provides vests, grabbers, and bags, but bring your own gloves and wear boots or waterproof shoes. Dress for the weather; the event is rain or shine unless there's lightning.

Volunteers will also need to handle trash disposal as required by KNIB, so some vehicles may be needed. RSVP through the event ticket link by the week prior so that the team can start to be together and so there are enough supplies. Let's make a difference together!
