he Swedish Historical Society of Rockford is happy to feature the work of local artists at the Nordic Cultural Center for Spring ArtScene 2025. A variety of Scandinavian arts will be highlighted. Such as block printing on linen, stained glass, and functional and decorative woodcrafts will be available. Additionally, work by Pieper Bloomquist, a premier folk painter, will be showcased. In addition to the Friday-Saturday ArtScene, the Swedish Historical Society will host a free “fika”, Swedish coffee party, for artists and friends at the Nordic Cultural Center on Sunday.

The Nordic Cultural Center will be open for ArtScene:
