Ars Publica is a new forum of literary and public art performances exploring theories, speculations, and inventions. Every month we will dig into a new subject.

This month we will be exploring who we are, as seen through the lens of the future. Each artist will present a response to the question: "how will anthropologists in 1,000 years describe humanity today, or, how would you describe human culture 1000 years in the future?"

Artists:

Ella Lakey (Water Street Dance)

Veronica Soría Martinez (Visual/Performance, New Genres Art Space)

Kevin Haas (Journalist, Comedian)

Jason Holcomb (Writer, Region 1 Planning Council)

Laura Eakman (Violist, ED of Music Academy in Rockford)

Roni Golan (Visual Artist)
