Folks of all abilities are welcome to this flower-focused hike. We will explore the arboretum on the 1.5 mile paved path and learn plant facts from a Klehm expert for the first hour. Following the hike will be a nature writing workshop with Rockford’s Poet Laureate Christine Swanberg, whose expertise may lead you somewhere new and exciting with your writing.

You can join us just to observe, or take part in expressing yourself through writing. Please bring your own journal and writing materials for your thoughts, ideas and experimentation.
