Rockford Network ends its year’s programs with speaker Dorothy Paige-Turner, retired educator/professional vocalist/actor/choral director/theater director/community arts activist at the June 19, 2017 meeting at Forest Hills Country Club 5135 Forest Hills Road, Rockford from 11:30 to 1pm. Dorothy will speak to the need to be of service to others, to be mindful of how our interactions effect ourselves and others, especially because we never know when, how or to whom it will be. The 2017 RNPW Scholarship will be presented at this meeting as well. In support of women in the community, RNPW annually awards a $2500 scholarship to an area woman 23 years of age or older to begin, or return to, her education in a degreed program at an accredited college or university.
