She could not wait to escape / into the world she loved: / The place where she could listen to the birds settling for the night; / The place where she could watch the sun disappear, / and follow the moon’s silent path across the sky; / The world of emerging life; / Her world!

Watch the moon rise from the east while the sun is setting in the west. Be bathed in spring life. Watch for the raccoons as they come out to explore. Listen for the owl to share its wisdom. Smell the dampness of the forest floor as it rises up to greet you.

Wear footwear suitable for trail walking and dress appropriately for whatever the weather might bring. Bring a mask for indoor use and those rare moments when physical distancing may be difficult. All ages are welcome with the understanding that this is a silent, meditative experience. Because this is an after hours program and the arboretum will be closed to the general public, please plan to arrive a few minutes early as the gates will close promptly at 6:30 PM. Group size will be limited, so register early to be sure to secure a spot!
