Please join us for a short ceremony, hike, and seed collection. Searls Park Prairie is one of the highest-quality wet prairies in the state of Illinois. The 66 acres was dedicated as an Illinois Nature Preserve in 1984.

We will meet across from the soccer fields on the south side of the road. This will be a easy hike, but please be advised that the area may be wet.

This is a free event open to the public.
