ROCKFORD, IL – Get ready to rev your engines and spice up your taste buds - the 4th Annual Cinco de Mayo Jeeps & Tacos festival is back and bigger than ever! Hosted by the passionate crew at Screw City Jeeps 815, this year’s celebration promises to be an unforgettable mashup of horsepower and heritage, tacos and tradition, community and culture. Founder and event mastermind Alonso Kling, also known around town as a “taco connoisseur with a cause,” began planning this year’s fiesta before the last one even wrapped up. The result? A vibrant, family-friendly event packed with authentic Mexican cuisine, cultural performances, custom rides, and local love that will leave every attendee smiling, stuffed, and inspired.

This is a free event to the public, no admission cost, and it isn’t just a party - it’s a purpose-driven party. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Department K-9 Unit. Your tacos, your fun, your presence - it all supports these incredible local heroes. Also, non-perishable food items will be collected – bring yours and receive a raffle ticket to win cool prizes. Food will be donated to the Rock River Valley Food Pantry. Festivities take place from 2-7 pm.
