Free

Rockford Amateur Astronomers open the Lockwood Park Observatory to the public (weather permitting) to explore our night sky.

Free public viewing sessions the 4th Saturday evenings of every month, hosted by our very own members.

Viewings start at 7pm or dusk, whichever is later for the time of year. Dress appropriately for outdoor weather, observatories aren’t heated!
