Family Challenge

We’re taking the classic computer game and bringing it into real life using Midway Village as the backdrop for your Oregon Trail Adventure.

Will you have the luck of the draw with the best career and funds to start your trip?

Can you make the right decisions along the trail?

Will you be able to ration your supplies, avoid calamities, and survive the dangers of the trail to complete our challenges and bring your family safely through the Midway Village Oregon Trail Challenge?

Cost: Adult: $10 Child: $7 (ages 3-17) Museum Member: Free

Admission may be purchased in-advance online or at the Museum Gift Store.

You may also purchase admission in-person at the gate the day of the special event.

Challenges Include:

Crossing A River Hunting For Buffalo Tracking Animals

Finding Safe Water Building Shelter Finding Food and…not dying of dysentery…or cholera…or a snakebite…or a broken bone…or….... you may run into some surprises—Good and Bad—as well! Estimated Game Play: Two hours to complete 15 challenges.
