In November, AET presents No Wake, a play about an unlikely odd couple who form an improbable friendship. Retiree Peter Michaels is on a mission to save the loons of Lake Winnipesaukee armed only with determination and a bullhorn. Sarah, a local teen hired to clean the summer home next to Peter’s has just about had it with the crazy old guy next door. Although they clash at the start, these two lost souls spend the summer fighting to save, not just the loons, but one another.
