Art and nature are incredible tools for improving our overall wellness. Exposure to art and nature lowers stress, forges a connection between mind & body, lifts emotions and reduces anxiety.

Join Anderson Japanese Gardens and instructor, Karla Lombardo, for our new Mindful Art Series: Making Art in Nature. Classes will occur once per week for 4 weeks under the Pavilion. Students may register for the entire series or attend classes individually.

Art and nature are incredible tools for improving our overall wellness. Exposure to art and nature lowers stress, forges a connection between mind & body, lifts emotions, and reduces anxiety.ll then move into the Gardens to find a quiet, reflective space and create a piece of artwork.

The instructor will be on-site to assist and encourage, but each student’s artwork will be reflective of their own thoughts and experiences. Students are welcome to share their art and their experience in the Gardens but sharing is not required.
