Join us for two immersive workshops led by visiting artists from Japan:

“Urushi” Lacquer Brooch Workshop | 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Create a beautifully polished lacquer brooch using traditional techniques taught by Hirai Ayako, a skilled lacquer artist from Fukushima.

“Hariko” Mini Daruma Workshop | 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM

Paint your own miniature daruma made of Japanese washi paper with guidance from Hashimoto Akie, an expert in Miharu paper mache.

Both workshops will be held in the Gallery and include all materials.

Space is limited to 20 participants per class.
