Learn how to do the fastest growing paddlesport activity in our Introduction to Stand Up Paddleboarding class. This two hour experience, taking place at Olson Lake at Rock Cut State, starts with 20 – 30 minutes of dry land and safety instruction followed by on water instruction and paddling. The remainder of the class is for you to practice what you just learned. An instructor will be on the water with the class the entire time. During this class you will learn the basics:


How to handle the paddle

How to launch using kneeling and standing

How to paddle and steer the board

How to fall and get back on

Making Pivots and feet position on board


The price for this experience is $40 and includes board, paddle, PFD, instruction, and a good time. Class is limited to 8 participants at this time, with a minimum of 3 required. Dress to get wet.
