Come join Rocktown Adventures for our Hump Day Paddle. These bi-weekly Hump Day Paddles break up the monotony of the work week, offering a low key, social paddling get together. Rocktown staff are out on the water with you, so you in addition to meeting other paddlers, you will walk away with some knowledge.

Details: We launch from downtown Rockford next to the Brewhouse at 6:00 pm, paddle for about an hour or so, and then enjoy a BBQ at the store. This is a BYOB event……fridge on site to keep everything cold. Rocktown provides the food, but side dishes are always welcome! Bring a folding chair/camp chair if you have one just in case. We never know how many are gonna show up, so best to literally reserve your seat!

Price: $20 with single kayak rental or Stand Up Paddleboard, $30 for tandem kayaks or canoes. Donation at your discretion towards food for those that have their own vessel.

Register: Please give us a call at 815-636-9066 or sign up below! For those not renting a kayak, please call the store to let us know you are coming so we know how much to grill!

What to bring/wear: Shoes that can get wet. Water repellent shorts and shirt (or something you don’t mind getting drops of water on). Avoid cotton as it retains water and does not insulate. Something cold to drink after the paddle, and a penchant for conversation and laughs.
