Students from the Harlem Veteran's project will share their professionally-developed documentaries of Rockford's Vietnam Veterans and their families. Meet several of our local heroes and talk with the students telling their stories.

The Power of Faith

Directed by: Brynn Schlaht

Angie White, a Gold Star Mother who lost her son in Vietnam, shares her story on how she turned tragedy into an opportunity to honor and remember her son, Kenneth White, as well as others who have lost their lives in service.

Finding a Purpose

Directed by: Kaitline Wright

This documentary follows the story of Harold "Butch" Erb, as he enlists in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. After receiving a Purple Heart, he is sent back home and learns how to face and win his battles there, as well.

Not recommended for children under age 12.

Admission to the museum galleries to view the many artifacts on exhibit in the Main Museum Center is included.

Midway Village Museum Members may check-in upon arrival to the museum. No pre-registration is required for our members.
