Returning for the first time since 2019 is Midway Village Museum's Hands-on History, the Great War: WWI School Day event.


We invite Public Schools, Private Schools, and Homeschoolers to our campus to for an afternoon of learning through meaningful engagement with re-enactors, presenters, and interpreters.


Interact with Central and Allied powers, learn about local Army training camp, Camp Grant, and hear how people on the Home Front did their part during the war.
