Steve Curington a Rockford native founded RU Recovery Ministries in 1996 after gaining victory over a 10-year addiction to cocaine. His goal was to reach and help others recover from stubborn habits and addiction in his community of Rockford. Little did he know that the ministry would grow beyond Rockford and become an international ministry today. Steve passed away in 2010, but his legacy lives on.
