The Erlander Home Museum is a cultural centerpiece of Rockford's Swedish ancestry community,and a major asset of the Society. The Museum is located within the home which was built for John Erlander and his family in 1871, within the historic Haight Village of Rockford.
Collections include Rockford-made furniture and many artifacts recalling Swedish immigration to northern Illinois and Rockford's Swedish heritage.
The Museum is open Tuesday thru Friday by appointment only. Please allow 72 hours lead time for requesting a tour. Call 815-963-5559 to reserve your tour.
