You are invited to participate in the restoration of our natural areas by joining our volunteer Conservation Crew! Invasive plant species pose grave threats to our natural areas—vegetation management is at the heart of our conservation efforts. Working alongside fellow volunteers in the beauty of the outdoors is both gratifying and invigorating. No experience necessary; training and tools are supplied. Bring a water bottle and stay hydrated. Dress in layers and expect to get dirty!

These restoration days are doubly important because Severson Dells has received a matching grant from the Illinois Clean Energy Community Foundation. As a part of this grant, once we log 400 volunteer hours for restoration they will award us an additional $4,000 to put toward furthering our restoration projects at Severson Dells. Come out and help us reach our goal while giving back to the land.
