The BMO Center has organized an ASM Rockford Coat Drive that will run Tuesday, November 15 – Thursday, December 15. Please join us by donating your new or gently used winter items! Collection bins will be placed in the BMO and CPAC box offices. Coats, gloves, mittens, scarves, hats, snow boots and snow pants will be accepted.

Donated items will benefit The Salvation Army of Winnebago County (Rockford) and their 25th Annual Koats4Kids event. This year, the donated items will go toward local school districts in providing outerwear to keep kids warm and this winter and to promote outdoor play. Research shows a proven link between outdoor activities and healthy brain development. Outdoor play also benefits kids mentally, emotionally, and physically.

This event goes hand-in-hand with ASM Global’s inaugural Global Month of Giving. This company-wide initiative will provide opportunities for team members across the world to dedicate their time, talent and treasure through volunteering, giving back and engaging in local community initiatives - creating a collective effort to demonstrate our commitment to the people and places where we operate. As part of ASM Global Acts, our Global Month of Giving represents our shared intentions to make a difference in the lives of others at both the global and local level.
