Join the Rock River Valley Team and Atwood Park to participate in this year's City Nature Challenge! Hike around the park with Atwood staff, make observations of species you encounter, and download them to iNaturalist! During this hike you will have the chance to contribute to citizen science and compete against other cities across the globe to get the most observations!

We will begin our journey at the nature center and hike out to our southside prairie and back. The full hike will equate to a little under 3 miles, but participants will have the option to head back to the center halfway through.

This event is FREE, pre-registration is high recommended and appreciated!
