This Living History event will feature a day at Rockford's Camp Fuller, an army camp established in 1862 where local recruits were mustered into military service to fight in the Civil War. You will see recruits in training, infantry, cavalry, and artillery demonstrations, Blue/Grey militias in mock skirmish, and civilian families supporting their soldiers. Costumed history interpreters will include Frederick Douglass, Ulysses Grant, and General Fuller reading the Emancipation Proclamation.


Join us Saturday, July 9th from 10am-4pm for our Camp Fuller Muster--a Rockford Civil War event! We are currently still accepting registrations for interested Rockford Grey soldiers, union soldiers, and civilian re-enactors!


Interested re-enactors should register here: https://forms.gle/HTqahgfJ81qad7JF9 by this FRIDAY, JULY 1ST to ensure participation. Only registered re-enactors will be allowed to participate--no walk-ins!
