Art’s Happening Downtown is an art & music festival for everyone! The goal of the Art’s Happening Downtown festival is to bring the community together through art and music and to showcase and celebrate talent from our area and abroad. 

The Location of the festival is the entire 300 block of Market Street, between Madison and 1st, in downtown Rockford. The event will happen rain or shine.

The Art’s Happening features 8 teams of local artists creating innovative installation art environments for the public to interact with and enjoy. Additionally, we have 9 live musical acts, in a variety of genres, that will begin at noon and continue through until approximately 10 pm.

Lukane & DJ Fat Mack (Carbondale)

There will also be food & drinks from Ka-Bao, Thai Jasmine, Olive Branch, Prairie St. Brewhouse and Inzombia Coffee.
