Native to Dixon, Illinois, Gina Venier is a Midwest girl through and through and it’s shown in her straightforward approach to songwriting and performing. Gina commands a room and makes everyone feel a part of the party. Her voice cuts with a raw character that works with the rhythmic beats that come from her multi-instrumental background as she adds percussion and drums to most of her records. Gina has spent the last decade honing her craft in Nashville, Tennessee where she defies fitting into a genre but is supported by Country, Americana, Pop and R&B.

Through her years of writing and performing, Venier has appeared on American Idol wowing judges and landing her a spot on the 2013 season’s overall top 24 females on the show. Venier continues to pursue a career as a writer and artist in Nashville and shares her craft as a percussion player for other artists in the Nashville music community.
