Record Store Day is a special day--A National Holiday to share with other record lovers across the globe!

For those of you who are new to Record Store Day, it's a national holiday where artists and labels get together to offer limited and special releases that can only be found at local and indie record stores.

Saturday, July 17 is DROP 2, 8am-6pm

SAVOR BBQ CO. will be here from 11am-2pm for lunch! WE ARE SO EXCITED!

These special amazing records are first-come-first-served and we are not allowed to sell them online, or hold them until the end of RSD but GREAT NEWS.

Our Record Store Day records will be on our website www.cultureshockshop.com by 8pm on Saturday night.

We feel blessed to be a member of our community where you trust us and love and support us. We are so thankful to our friends (you) this year (and every year) and we will continue to be a place where you feel safe, loved, cherished, and where you can always find purposeful brands, indie companies, and items that represent you.

RECORD STORE DAY:

How will things work:

(This is slightly different from past Record Store Days so take note)

When you arrive there will be an entrance and an exit to come into the store. Please head to the entrance side and get in line.

We are asking that you distance yourself 6 feet apart indoor AND outdoor the ENTIRE time you are in line and while shopping. Please do not enter the store until we allow you inside.

We will be allowing people in 10 at a time to allow for social distancing. The line generally moves pretty efficiently so don't you fret if you are in line. You will be let inside soon!

You may purchase 6 RSD releases per trip through the line. Once you purchase 6 feel free to get back in line for a second round.

Sanitize your hands before browsing. If you cannot use sanitizer, we have a sink w/soap.

Masks are recommended for everyone. If you are not vaccinated, we require that you wear a mask over your mouth and nose, while you are INSIDE browsing. If you are vaccinated, per the CDC Guidelines, you are not required to wear a mask, however, we do *strongly recommend* it for everyone during the very short time you are inside our smallish shop on this day with many people. Thanks for your cooperation with this!

A couple other things we are doing to ensure safety/sanity/fun of our guests:

We have air purifiers running throughout both sides of the store and our Register will be moved outside for the first half of the day so the line moves quicker, and we can get you in and out faster.

If you are sick, feverish, have any sick-symptoms bothering you–causing you to sneeze/have a runny nose/eyes, or stomach ick, please stay home and send someone you know to Record Store Day for you.

Thank you for helping us follow little protocols so we can continue to stay open, keep our staff/guests healthy, and bring you all of the music you love. It’s very important to us to be able to remain open to serve you.
