Summer is upon us & the temps are rising daily 
This pups paws are the result of walking on hot pavement 
Tips on how to prevent this from happening:
Before going on a walk, take your shoes 
off & stand on the pavement. If it is too hot 
for you, it is too hot for them
Try walking 
them early in the morning 
or later in the evening 
when it is cooler.
If your pet spends a lot of time outside, ensure that they have a shaded area 
they can escape from the sun 
Keep your fur babies safe this summer

Reminder for this weekend Drown out the sound of fireworks with music/tv, fans, or white noise machines.Use compression garments and calming pheromones to help reduce anxiety .Create a safe space where they won’t be exposed to any visual or audiostimuli.Use distractions like peanut butter filled kongs, long lasting chews, or their favorite treats or toys. Staying calm is important. Pets can sense when we are stressed , so if you act scared they will too. We will be closing at 4pm today & reopening on Monday at 8am.
