SUMMER SOLSTICE 108 @ PEACE PLAZA

Bring on summer with 108 sun salutations! 108 sun salutations are traditionally practiced to celebrate the cycles of life and to mark times of change and transition. This rhythmic, moving meditation is a wonderful way to enter the summer season feeling fresh, abundant, and strong. Ally and Kimmy will lead you through 12 sets of 9 sun salutations with options to modify and move at your own pace. Come with an open heart, ready mind, eager spirit ... and a water bottle! We recommend hydrating thoroughly and eating a healthy meal on the morning of the event -- just not too close to the starting time so you don't feel sluggish while you're trying to get through 108 downward dogs!

Modifications for ALL LEVELS are provided — there’s even a way to do sun salutations while lying on your back, so if you’re healing an injury, you are welcome to join us! Remember: yoga is for body, mind, heart, and spirit!

WHERE: Keeling-Puri Peace Plaza. This is an outdoor event. There is a shelter on site so we can hold the event rain or shine.
