Our client was stopped by the police and placed under arrest due to a faulty warrant. As a result of the arrest, the police searched our client’s car and our client was charged with drug possession. We filed a motion to quash arrest and suppress evidence. The court ruled that because the officer was executing an unlawful warrant, any search that occurred because of that warrant was also unlawful and suppressed all evidenced that was gained from the search.

As a result, the case was dismissed.
