The exhibit, “Heroes of American Women’s Voting Rights“ is displayed at the City of Rockford - City Hall now through April 17. The paintings, created by League of Women Voters of Greater Rockford Illinois member Janie Wilson-Cook, depicts a series of portrait paintings of women instrumental in the acquisition of women’s voting rights in 1920. The exhibit sponsored by Rock Valley College Women’s History and PAIC is open to the public during the City Hall’s operational hours. All viewers must wear a mask.
