Hurray! And, go Rockford IceHogs!

Our local professional hockey team is back on the ice playing hockey this season, and the museum is showcasing one of the team's largest championship wins among several other team artifacts. The Rockford IceHogs have been a part of the American Hockey League, an affiliate team of the Chicago Blackhawks, since 2007. Prior to 2007, the team was in the United Hockey League and in its final season won the Colonial Cup Championship. Since joining the American Hockey League, the Rockford

IceHogs have been in the Calder Cup Playoffs four times. The Calder Cup is the trophy awarded annually to the playoff champion of the American Hockey League.
