In 1952, Sam Phillips opened up Sun Records in Memphis Tennessee. Sun Records being the 1st Music Label to Elvis, Roy Orbison, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and of course Johnny Cash. As it stands Today, Sun Records is a Museum and is listed as a National Historic Landmark.
