June 14 is Flag Day. Every year there is a special ceremony to properly retire old and tattered American flags in a special burn ceremony at LZ Peace Memorial in Rockford. The ceremony included how to properly fold a flag and what each fold means. They explained each part of the ceremony. Very moving and worth seeing. They retire the current flag being flown there and replace it with a bright, new, red, white and blue one.
