~ A Huge Thank You Shout Out ~

A fresh, new installation of professional landscaping in the parking lot islands near the Main Museum Center was made possible by a generous donation by Museum Members Terry and Gretchen Poffinbarger. Terry and Gretchen have worked to maintain our beautiful grounds for several years pruning trees, weeding flower beds, and cutting unwanted brush. Both are also volunteers in other areas of the museum's operations. Their new commitment to the beautification of the grounds is very much appreciated and a friendly greeting when visitors come to the museum.

"We have to be patient for them to grow. New plantings sleep the first year, creep the second and leap the third," said Terry.

We look forward to many springs to come and enjoying the beauty of the Poffinbarger's donation.
