Anderson Japanese Gardens Volunteer Manager, Leah Keirn, is missing our volunteer team and came up with this fun list.

You might be missing AJG volunteers if…

1. You cannot remember the name of the various creeks on the property.

2. You wish someone were here to help you lick all these envelopes. Oh wait—don’t lick any envelopes!

3. You eat snacks alone instead of with the group discussing the beautiful spring blooms.

4. You wish that one creative volunteer would come up with a fun and engaging program about cleaning your kitchen.

5. You develop a tour talking point about the Japanese spices in your spice rack.

6. You attempt to spend an entire day eating with only chopsticks.

7. You have no idea what that random bloom in your backyard is, and have no one to ask.

8. You make your own at home potluck and still set out 50+ plates and napkins.

9. You always expect to see someone at the coffee maker, but never do because you're all working from home.

10. You wander the house calling out, "Thank you for volunteering at Anderson Japanese Gardens—we love you and miss you!"
