COVID-19 UPDATE

Hello Meyer’s Family,

This is a crazy and unprecedented time that we are living in. We are so amazed at the community we have around us. After our communication with you yesterday, Representative Joe Sosnowski quickly sent us the written Executive Order from the Governor, letting us know we ARE an essential business and would be allowed to remain open. The order states that an essential business, “provide[s] food, shelter, and other necessities of life for animals, including animal shelters, rescues, shelters, kennels, and adoption facilities”. A huge thank you to Rep. Joe Sosnowski for acting swiftly and getting this pertinent information to us!

This means a couple things. One, our facility will be able to remain open and help protect the livelihood of our team. Two, the way we interact with you will change for a while. To add an additional layer, we will be doing curbside pickups and drop offs only.

VISITS TO MEYER’S CURBSIDE PLAN:

- FOR DROPOFF: Please pull up to our doors at the building of your service and someone will be out to assist you. We take your take essential information and your pet from you and will follow up with a phone call for any further instructions or specific questions we may have. We will re-leash dogs and you will keep your leash with you.

- FOR PICKUP: Please pull up to our doors at the building of your service and someone will be out to assist you. They will take your information and call you to process your payment over the phone. Once completed, we will bring your pet out to your car and you will be on your way.

If you have experienced flu-like symptoms or illness, been near someone with COVID-19 symptoms, or traveled somewhere affected by COVID-19 and could have come in contact in the past 14 days – Please stay home.

You MUST have an APPOINTMENT OR A RESERVATION for any services. We need to ensure that we have the appropriate amount of staff travelling as little as possible during this time.

All TRAINING CLASSES are cancelled. Training students- we will be in touch with you when have more information. Keep practicing at home. Your dogs will love it!
