Top off a wonderful day in the 815 with a calming trip through the trails, starting with a view of the sunset over the prairie.


-Enter at 8786 Montague Rd, Rockford, IL 61102 and take the first left to meet at the shelter house.

-Trail is partially paved and partially mowed grass and mostly flat.

-Water and a face mask are encouraged.

-Restrooms and water fountain available.

-Pets are not allowed.
