The CSF is hosted annually by the Community Foundation of Northern Illinois, the Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC), the Rock Valley College Foundation, and the Rockford Public Library.

This event brings together scholarship providers, financial aid experts, and support services for our region's students. Students, parents, and other supporters attend and visit dozens of booths staffed by local scholarship providers. These providers share information about over $800,000 in local scholarships available for graduating seniors, GED recipients, current college students, and those seeking credentialing or a vocation.


The fair also features two informational seminars:

1) RVC & ISAC present on the FAFSA, financial aid programs, and how to apply for RVC Foundation scholarships.

2) The Rockford Public Library presents its services and resources for scholarship-seekers, and CFNIL provides an in-depth presentation on its scholarship program (over 100 scholarships accessed via ONE application).
